The
CU is committed to meeting the needs of students who are blind to
the truth of the Gospel.
Striving to be Christ-like, we will
evangelise with integrity... Now!"
We are a group of
students passionate about bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to our
campus. We realise the importance of discipleship in order to be
effective in evangelism. As such we aim to have a programme which
allows us to be both equipped and active as Christians at
University.
Jesus
said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full"
(John 10:10)
This challenges us as a
CU to both enjoy life as Jesus intended, and to share the fullness
of new life with those around us. Our mission statement above shows
that we take both personal growth and evangelism seriously, and our
aim is that the CU will be like a 4 year mission team at the heart
of the university campus.
We meet every Tuesday
morning at 8am in the Chaplaincy Centre (John Street, opposite The
Union) for praise and prayer, and we also have a varied programme of
events on Thursday evenings. For more information see the programme
section or contact us.
Strathclyde CU is
affiliated with UCCF, and the
doctrinal basis and
constitution
