Recommended Christian Music
The following list has been compiled by Steven Connor, and worth checking out:

• Shawn McDonald - From Seattle... has three albums but I own only one of them "Live in Seattle". Very acoustic. Very much worship focused... so not trying to be commercial... purely Christian worship music :-) Stunning. He has a cool testimony too which he shares in one of the tracks.
   
• Jason Morant -  Now here is a little mystery... There once was a band called "Adam's Lament", Their music was almost heaven sent, Only one EP, I ever did see, Now a solo artist is Jason Morant. (artistic license here!) So yeah...he even sings one or two of their old songs, but I don't know much about him. Adam's Lament were fantastic but if you can find anything by them then I'll be very surprised.
   
• The Violet Burning are very, very chilled out...not listened to them for ages actually. Don't know much about them but I'm sure they have a website. http://www.thevioletburning.com/
   
• Ginny Owens is very chilled out too... kind of cheesy in parts though..
   
• Then there are the usual suspects - Casting Crowns, Dave Crowder, Starfield, Jars of Clay, Third Day, Caedmon's Call, (Pedro The Lion - but a little uncertain of their Christian-ness), and loads more that I'm sure you have already.
